We try and get English cherries when the season allows but supplies of organic cherries sadly seem to be very limited in this country! We will then source as close to home as possible. You can't beat the delicious sweetness of a cherry in summer, whether consumed raw, or added into cakes, tarts and bakes.

Containing both anthocyanins and bioflavonoids cherries have been found in studies to help in chronic inflammatory diseases and can help prevent the pain associated with conditions such as arthritis and gout.
Cherries have been shown to be protective against brain degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Huntington's.
Cherries are good for insomniacs, being a natural source of melatonin.
